Welcome to this weeks Sunday Platform Round-Up where we celebrate the latest updates and additions to the Event Supplier Hub. This week has been a great week for the platform and he seen a number of vast improvements to the site. We should also celebrate that the this week has been the highest performing week in terms of searches, sign-ups and new content since the platform began in November 2023.
We thank everyone that has visited the site and all the people that have created accounts and we look forward to massive growth over the next few weeks.
New Features
- Events Calendar: Our member’s area now features a brand new events calendar. We want our community to contribute to this as much as a possible and showcase all of the various jobs that are happening around the world. This is also a good opportunity for people that are looking for work to have a better idea of what events are happening in their country.
- Redesigned Home Page: We have made a number of improvements to the home page of the site by providing more up-to-date stats and giving each supplier/freelancer a more fairer share when it comes to appearing on the front-page. If you do wish to be featured this can be purchased from the shop.
- Supplier Spotlight: This week we contacted all suppliers with a business listing to submit some information for an article about their business to be included in the monthly Supplier Spotlight. We want to celebrate and publicise all of the hard work each of our suppliers put in on a daily basis within the industry.
- Community Articles: We are working with a number of freelancers and suppliers to help us create new and engaging content for our members. We are encouraging all freelancers to get in touch and suggest ideas for articles that will help educate and inform our community. We want all of our members to showcase their abilities and unique skill sets to the rest of the industry.
- Now with 130+ Freelancers: We are over the moon to announce that we have hit the 100 freelancer mark and growing rapidly! At the time of writing this we are nearer 150 than 100 so thank you to everyone that has signed up and joined the community.
Next Week’s Focus
- Hit 200 freelancers: We want EVERY freelancer in the industry to sign-up!
- Help suppliers list their businesses: We are increasing our marketing campaign and sitting down with businesses and suppliers to help them list their services on the platform. We believe with the increase in searches and sign-ups now is the best time to get listed on the directory!
- Onboard some recruiters to keep the job board populated: We are in conversation with a number of recruiters to help keep our job board updated. We know that this is a key area for our site and we want to ensure that our members get access to the best opportunities in the industry.
